Our clients from Romania made a traditional desert called “Cornulețe”. Cornulețe is a traditional Romanian pastry which is flavoured with vanilla or rum extract/essence, as well as lemon rind, and stuffed with Turkish delight, jam, chocolate, cinnamon sugar, walnuts, and/or raisins, with the shape representing a crescent. Romanians traditionally eat these during Christmas time, or other special occasions. Recipe 1 cup of bors 2 cups of oil 2 sachets of yeast 1 kg of bread 300 g of icing sugar Turkish delight Put in the oven for approximately 20 mins after rolling in icing sugar

CONGRATULATIONS to our CEO, Clint Agard, on being awarded the Wirral Award 2021!! Clint has played a huge role in supporting the community over the past 15-20 years for the BAME and disadvantaged in Wirral. Wirral Change was founded by Clint and Sabra Ahmed (DCEO) in 2005 and have constantly campaigned for the disadvantaged within the area. Well done Clint, you deserve this!

Why am I taking part in the WLA Coachathon this November? Each coaching session costs just £25, which is a direct donation to @MicroLoan Foundation. £25 is the same amount as a start-up loan that will help one woman currently living in poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa to set up her own income generating business. With over 200 coaches taking part there’s over 1200 coaching slots available, we are hoping to raise thousands of pounds to reach hundreds of women facing poverty. Last weekend at Wirral Change we celebrated Culture & Diversity! The day was a super fun free family event celebrating flavours of dance, music, food and cultural dresses from around the world! With Chinese Dragon dances, Kung Fu Demonstration, Dance Performances and free workshop, the day was filled with activities to do. It truly was a great day at Wirral Change!
